Personal and/or Corporate Gifts
Personal and corporate involvement can take many forms, all of which provide valued benefits to our children. Gifts of cash or stock are always appreciated, as are volunteers in our homes or at special events.

Matching Gifts
We participate in matching gift programs with a number of employers. Check with your employer to see if your gift qualifies.

Become a Volunteer

Learn more about volunteering with Boys Hope Girls Hope as a residential volunteer or serve as a mentor, meal mom, tutor or special events planner.  Your skills and talents are much needed and deeply appreciated!

Gifts in Kind
Our local programs are always in need of items such as computer equipment, sports and camping equipment, home and office furnishings, and daily living supplies.

 

2007 Wish List Dinner Moms and Dads – Volunteers to provide dinner to the boys home (8 boys, 3 staff); join us for dinner or drop it off. Tutors – Volunteers to assist the young men in our home maintain terrific grades. Currently BHGH Baltimore maintains a 3.2 GPA, yet we are always in need of tutors to work one-on-one with each student. Math, Literature, Grammar, Spanish, French, and Test Preparation assistance is needed. Mentors – Volunteer with BHGH Baltimore as a Professional Mentor with our new “LINKS” program matching local professionals with our young scholars. The idea is to establish a relationship that allow our young men to have support outside of BHGH Baltimore with established professionals in their quest for selecting a good college and preparing for professional life. Theater Tickets - Boys Hope Girls Hope of Baltimore, an academic focused residential program for motivated and talented inner-city kids encourages each scholar to participate in the arts, sports and any other age appropriate social events. BHGH Baltimore scholars enjoy musicals, documentaries, movies and many of the arts, yet rely on the contribution of tickets or seasonal passes for such opportunities. Mini-Van/ Family Vehicle – BHGH Baltimore relies on the donation of used vehicles in good working order to provide our young men transportation to their schools and extra-curricular activities. Please consider donating a used vehicle to support our program. Miscellaneous- 2-Twelve piece set of dishes, 48 piece set of silverware, Cooking/pots/pans set , 1-2 Large Cooking skillets (separate from the set) , Plastic Food storage Containers , Electric Can Opener , Electric Blender , Electric Mixer, Large Serving Utensils (spoons w/ holes, spoons, ladles, spatulas, spaghetti server, etc.), Measuring spoons , Measuring cups ,Drinking Glasses for everyday usage, Microwave Oven, Iron , Ironing Board , Large Brita Water Pitcher , Mops/Brooms & Dust Pan , Toilet Bowl Brush Cleaning Set, Kitchen Dish Towels , Kitchen Wash Towels , Twin sheet set , Twin Comforters (8) beds (blue, red, green, orange, brown) , Bedroom Throw rugs , Bedroom/Kitchen Trash Cans, Bath Towels , Wash Cloths , Hand Towels , Table Lamps for Living Room , Bathroom Rugs (navy blue, dk. green, rustic brown) , Shower Curtains w/hooks.
